Dr. Yvette Berndt is a native Texan, born and raised in El Paso. She graduated from high school in 1987, after which she started attending New Mexico State University and obtained her Bachelor’s in Animal Science. She then pursued her Master’s Degree in reproductive toxicology and graduated from NMSU in 1995. Dr. Berndt was accepted into the Professional Veterinary Medical Program at Colorado State University and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. Dr. Berndt has been practicing emergency and critical care medicine for her whole career.
Dr. Berndt enjoys a home in the Loveland community. Her furry home pets are her German Wirehair Pointer Cole and her Bernedoodle, Henry. Dr. Berndt also loves motorcycle riding, camping, and traveling.
