Dr. Lisa Carroll completed her Bachelor's degree in biology in 1990 and her DVM from Kansas State University in 1994. She joined a mixed animal practice in Las Cruces, New Mexico where she worked for four years treating small, large, and exotic animals.
She then moved in 1998 to the Boulder area where she has practiced exclusively small animal emergency medicine. As past president of the local area veterinary association, she has developed strong ties with many other members of the veterinary community.
Dr. Carroll lives in Longmont with her husband, their three daughters, one dog, three cats, two guinea pigs, three goldfish, and one turtle. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, gardening, martial arts, and mentoring youth activities.
At Boulder and Northside Emergency Pet Clinics, our dedicated veterinarians are specially trained in emergency medicine and triage. We provide quality, compassionate emergency care.
