Kristy Amer, DVM graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. She spent the first 4 years of her career in the internal medicine/critical care/emergency department of Hagyard Equine Medical Institute in Lexington, KY.
In 2008, she moved to Colorado and transitioned from working on horses to dogs and cats. In 2009, she joined Northside Emergency Pet Clinic and happily returned to the fast pace and diverse caseload of emergency and critical care.
When not working, she spends as much time as possible in the foothills and mountains of Colorado biking or hiking with her 2 adorable and adventurous dogs, Violet a yellow lab and Pickle a 15 lb Chidoodle (aka mutt).
At Boulder and Northside Emergency Pet Clinics, our dedicated veterinarians are specially trained in emergency medicine and triage. We provide quality, compassionate emergency care.
