Dr. Cristie Hunter first received her Bachelors in Civil Engineering from Duke University. She then decided to change career paths to pursue veterinary medicine. Dr. Hunter then attended the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine graduating in 2002.
Following an internship at the University of Minnesota, she began her career in emergency medicine. After moving to Colorado in 2004, she joined the Boulder and Northside Emergency Pet Clinic teams in 2005.
When not working, Cristie enjoys spending time with her husband Jason, 4 dogs (Buddy, Juno, Roxy, and Foo), and 2 cats (Ed and Chewy) and taking advantage of living in Colorado by hiking, camping, mountain biking, and snowboarding.
